Site for mobile devices

In 2010 we launched our first site intended for mobile devices (like iPhone). Previously we had wap.xaviermedia.com, but that site was limited to the number of devices that could access it and also the site contained very little content. XavierMedia.mobi got all the news from our main site XavierMedia.com and thanks to the fantastic service provided by eXavier.com you can get a site like XavierMedia.mobi just by registering a .mobi domain with eXavier.com.

Apple products has been one of the most popular things to write about in 2010 so we've been trying to adapt our sites to iPad and Iphone web browser Safari. We've also changed direction on XavierMedia.co.uk to be a tech blog about these amazing things from Apple.

In the end of 2010 we moved our social community MyXavier.com to a solution hosted by Status.net instead of the self-hosted version. This was done because of the increased spamming at the community and we needed to take advantage of the spam-figthing measurements Status.net offer (like CAPTCHA signup etc). The new community can be found at myxavier.status.net.
